The non-profit association INVEDIN, founded in 1974, has two Diagnostic Centers, one Comprehensive Education Center, and a Postgraduate Study Center in Caracas, but they dreamed about a Main Center where all those  diagnostic and educational activities could be held together, aiming for better treatments and an optimum management. This project proposed two closed volumes with the same activity density as barriers, supported on the limit to allow open areas to have a better visual and operative relations with the community services. Using the same safeguard vs. openness logic, this school is set up at the end of the plot taking in the mountain as the background curtain, containing open limits to the recess area. To the front of the set, the volumes are risen to allow the development of the topography, a visual relation with the interior, and a strengthening of the associated institutional image.
